Four shot, two killed in Wayne Co.

Deputies are searching for a suspect in a shooting that left two dead and two wounded Sunday night.

Investigators said they got the call around 9:45 p.m. at 1172 B Old Mount Olive Hwy. 

When deputies arrived, they found Anthony Jamal Kornegay and Nakiea Felicia Garner dead. A third person, Tre Stokes, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

A fourth victim, Leonard Darden, fled the scene and was located in the 1700 block of Old Mount Olive Hwy.  He was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm.

Deputies said they have identified Jujuan Maquis Cox - of 106 Evelyn Circle, Dudley - as the alleged shooter.

They have two murder warrants for his arrest and additional charges are pending. A SWAT team searched Cox's home, but he was not found.
