Police say they've solved five recent armed robberies at Raleigh convenience stores.

Twenty-three-year-old Harold Leroy Williams of Ravie Road and 21-year-old Gregory Earl Bellamy of Timber Creek Lane are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Investigators said the pair was arrested when they were spotted in a car that matched the description of a BMW used in a robbery at a Kangaroo store on Louisburg Rd. Sunday night.

The men are also accused of robbing another Kangaroo on East Millbrook Rd. on the same night.

Police have charged them in holdups on Pleasant Valley Rd. on Nov. 27, New Bern Avenue on Nov. 29, and Glenwood Avenue on Dec. 4.

Investigators said a gun was shown to a sales clerk in all five robberies.
