The Johnston County Sheriff's Office seized a methamphetamine lab in a home just outside of Kenly on Friday afternoon.

Officials said an anonymous tip led them to the home at 3950 Hickory Crossings Road.

Gary Scott, 28, was arrested on drug related charges including maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance.

Two children were living at the address with Scott, though only one was home at the time of the arrest, according to police.

Authorities said the 3-year-old and 8-year-old may need to be decontaminated as a precaution.

This was Johnston County's 15th meth lab bust this year.
