Clear surveillance photo in bank robbery

Police said they hope a very clear surveillance photo will lead them to the man who allegedly robbed a SunTrust Bank on Erwin Road Monday morning.

Investigators said the man came in just before 9:30 a.m. with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect was described as a black male approximately 40 years old with a medium build, a white bandage under his left eye and a mustache. He was wearing a gray jacket, khaki pants, white sneakers and a tan camouflage hat. He was last seen walking across Erwin Road toward Louise Circle.
