Just after 1 a.m., authorities received a call about shots being fired in the 1900 block of Murchison Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that someone had been taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center after reportedly being shot while at the same address.
The victim, whose name has not been released, is currently in stable condition at the hospital, according to police.
Authorities have not released any details about a possible suspect or what sparked the shooting.
