Son: Rev. Billy Graham's health declining

CHARLOTTE

During a Christmas charity event at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte on Friday, Graham's son Franklin talked about his father and father's health.

"My father's health has declined quite a bit in last few days. I'm not even sure he knows Nelson Mandela has passed away," Franklin told WSOC-TV. "He hasn't been able to get his strength back. Vitals are good. He's just weak and at home."

Graham celebrated his 95th birthday in November a month after being admitted to the hospital for pulmonary tests and observations.

Franklin Graham is the CEO of Samaritan's Purse, which helped collect hundreds of shoe boxes filled with gifts for children in need.
