The City of Raleigh said Thursday it is filing an appeal of a decision by the City's Board of Adjustment that overturned a certificate of appropriateness for construction of a modern looking home in the city's Oakwood neighborhood.
Residents had complained that the home going up at 516 Euclid Street was out of place with the history of Oakwood.
City officials said the appeal is being filed with Wake County Superior Court "because of concerns about procedural irregularities." They said the homeowners also plan to appeal.
