ABC11 Together - Helping create a new generation of journalists

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- As part of our ABC11 Together initiative, we're helping to create a new generation of journalists.

ABC11 President and General Manager Caroline Welch presented a $5,000 check to Fayetteville State University Chancellor James Anderson.

ABC11 and the station's Minority Advisory Committee established a scholarship for a student or students interested in pursuing careers in journalism or communications.

The scholarship is awarded to a historically Black college or university in our area each year.
