Katy Mixon is hilariously unapologetic in 'American Housewife'

Katy Mixon is going to be dishing out the laughs in American Housewife.

Not only is her character in ABC's new comedy trying to keep her family afloat in a wealthy new town, but she also must dodge the half-hearted smiles and insults-disguised-as-compliments that other Westport, Connecticut moms throw her way. Luckily for us viewers at home, this unapologetic TV parent has one tough backbone underneath her pizza-stained sweater.

We've seen many tough television comedy moms over the years, but rarely do we meet a matriarch who can take tough insults and dish them out with no leftover laughs.
