Last year, DNA evidence linked James Henderson to the old rape, kidnapping and burglary case.
In court at that time, his lawyer argued the victim was not raped but had a consensual relationship with Henderson.
But the woman claimed she had never met him before the attack.
A judge sentenced Henderson to serve between 77 and 99 years in prison.
