Thieves snatched an aerial Verizon cable from south Hoover Road overnight Friday.
It could take crews until late Sunday or Early Monday to restore service.
The suspects took another cable from an area near Hopson Road and Highway 55. That left about 80 customers without service.
Service in that area should be restored sometime Saturday night.
