Police release composite of assault suspect

Raleigh Police are trying to identify and locate the suspect responsible for an assault at Lake Lynn Park.

Around 7 p.m. Monday, a victim reported she was jogging on a trail at the park when a man struck her from behind. She says she screamed and the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as a black man, standing at about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 160 to 170. He is said to be in his teens or early twenties.

He was seen wearing a gray hoodie, baggie light-colored blue jeans and tan Timberland boots. His jeans also had two tan-colored designs, described to resemble a sideways "S" on the back pockets.
