A report from the State Bureau of Investigation seems to confirm what Fayetteville police say happened when an officer shot and killed a man on Thanksgiving night.Kenmara Davis' family is disputing that he was shot after firing at an officer first, but investigators found a bullet lodged in Officer Michael Yount's patrol car.

Yount was investigating a "shots fired" call near Davis' home at the time.

Reports that Davis was drunk were also confirmed by several witnesses who say he was asked to leave two neighborhood parties because he was intoxicated.
