Charter School makes lottery picks

RALEIGH Saturday morning, they learned if they would be able to attend Raleigh Charter High School.

About 860 students placed their names in the 11th annual lottery, but only 140 were accepted.

The school is so popular it attracts students from seven counties.

Students who attend Raleigh Charter have some of the highest SAT scores in the state.
