"He said, 'Robin, Robin something is going on with the air conditioning upstairs, the water is coming down,'" Gillespie said. "It was just a mess and he captured (the) water in the trash can before he could go upstairs and figure out how to empty it."
She says the water bubble happened after their air conditioner was repaired by Artisan Comfort Systems, INC. She says the technician that did the repair came out right away and fixed the leak.
"He said, 'Let it dry for a week, I'll come back and fix the ceiling,' and I said okay that makes sense," Gillespie said.
After a week, Gillespie says they called Artisan Comfort Systems.
"My husband called one day, no return phone call, my husband called the next day no return phone call, called the next day, no return phone call," she said.
Frustrated, Gillespie turned to ABC11 Eyewitness News I-Team Troubleshooter Diane Wilson.
"Maybe an hour after I sent you a text, I got a phone call that said, 'Ms Gillespie I'm so sorry, are you going to be home tomorrow,'" Gillespie said.
She says the tech came out over the weekend and fixed the ceiling. Gillespie says now she just has to have her painter repaint the ceiling, which she says the owner of Artisan Comfort Systems has agreed to pay.
"I'm happy it's getting resolved, and I'm happy Artisan responded to me," Gillespie said.
The owner of Artisan Comfort Systems was very apologetic and said they had a communication problem in their office and that's why Gillespie's phone call wasn't returned right away.
Once ABC11 got in touch with the company, they did respond right away and took care of the Gillespie's home.
