Raleigh bank robbed

Police were investigating a robbery Thursday afternoon at a BB&T bank branch near Six Forks Rd.

Detectives said around 2:15 p.m., a man wearing a mask came into the bank at 3701 Barrett Drive and implied he was armed. He fled the bank with cash.

The suspect was described as a white male standing approximately 5 feet 9-10 inches tall. His weight was estimated at 165 pounds. A surveillance photo showed the suspect was in a mask, sunglasses, a jacket, and a cap to disguise his identity and features.
