Police try to identify alleged bank robber

Police said Wednesday they're trying to identify a Valentine's Day bank robber.

Fayetteville Police Department detectives said the man walked into the First Citizens Bank located at 130 Grove Street just after 3:30 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the bank on foot and possibly entering a light blue in color sedan.

Witnesses said the suspect was roughly 6'2" to 6'4" with a thin build and was wearing black jeans, a gray bomber style jacket, and an orange or red toboggan.
