Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said 43-year-old Stacey Lynn Tillman was shot along the 100-hundred block of Parks Avenue around 10 Thursday night.
Tillman told authorities she was sitting in a car outside a home when she was shot by someone she didn't recognize.
Her injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
