Errol Williams, 27, was kidnapped at a Fayetteville gas station, and shot and killed when he tried to escape September 1.
"It is not going to bring him back, but at least justice will be served," said Elisia Jackson, Williams' fiancé.
For Jackson, it's not so much what her fiancé's killers took as much as what they stole.
"He has a one and three year old," said Williams. "They will never get to see their daddy. He'll never experience their first day of school or playing sports."
For this family, it is a senseless crime.
A surveillance photo released by the Fayetteville police department shows three suspects in the parking lot of the store where Williams was kidnapped. That trio, Kourtney Reed, Joseph Haskins, and Kelly Elliott now face murder, kidnapping and robbery charges.
Elliott was captured at a relative's home in Texas, Reed was found at a house in St. Pauls. Haskins was arrested after police stopped the car he was riding in.
Police say two others in jail on charges related to the case could face additional charges, and police say the community can feel at ease.
"Hopefully, this brings back a sense of security here in the community," said Lt. Todd Joyce with the Fayetteville Police Department.
However, there is no relief from the heartbreak and the pain that Doris Turner feels over losing her son.
"I've been crying off and on," said Turner. "I'm just heartbroken."
For now, there is no forgiveness in their hearts.
"I pray every night. But at the same time, they didn't show no mercy when they took his life," said Jackson. "So, it's going to be hard to do."
