People at the scene Thursday told ABC11 that they knew Watson. They say he was with them on New Year's Eve, and they had not seen him since.

"It's frightening," said Sharlene Walls, who lives near where the body was found. "I didn't see anything when I took my daughter to school, but at lunchtime, there were police everywhere."

She says police told her there was nothing to worry about.

"They just said there was no concerns, but hours later, they're still over here," said Walls.

Late Thursday, the coroner finally moved the body and a car at the scene was towed away, but police weren't saying if the two are connected.

So far, police say there are no indications that foul play was involved in Watson's death.

A person at the scene told ABC11 that Watson was his brother-in-law. He said that Watson was a father, who just recently got married.
