Armed robbery investigation at Pizza Hut in Cumberland County overnight

SPRING LAKE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police in Spring Lake are investigating an overnight armed robbery at a Pizza Hut.

It happened at the restaurant on Bragg Blvd around 12:30 a.m.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office also responded with its K9 unit.

The parking lot was blocked off with crime scene tape while authorities investigated.
