SMITHFIELD (WTVD) -- The Johnston County Sheriff's Office has upgraded the charges against a Kenly man to two counts of first-degree murder.
Jeremy Kyle Price, 28, was originally charged as an accessory in the March, 10 shooting deaths of 30-year-old Matthew Jones and 24-year-old Jessica Pyatte in the 100 block of Unity Drive, near Newton Grove, in southern Johnston County.

The other alleged gunman, Gerald Thomas Paul Jr., 21, of Erwin, was charged with murder soon after the killings.
Detectives have also charged Tara Nicole Wilson of Dunn as an accessory after the fact.
