RALEIGH (WTVD) -- According to school officials, Athens Drive High School was on a community lockdown due to police activity in the area Wednesday afternoon.
The lockdown started just before 1 p.m. and was lifted around 1:45 p.m.
All doors to the school were closed and visitors weren't allowed in the building; however, students were able to move around.
Officials did not comment further on the police presence in the area.
