Person dies after falling from Raleigh balcony

1 injured in possible fall from Raleigh balcony
Police say a person was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening after falling from what they believe was a balcony.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police say a person died overnight after after falling from the fourth-story balcony above a Raleigh restaurant Tuesday night.

It happened along Glenwood South in Raleigh at the Tobacco Road Sports Cafe.

Police said the person who fell suffered serious injuries and was taken to WakeMed, where they later died. Investigators have classified the incident as a suicide.
