Bank robbery reported in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo in the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh.



The call came in just after 12:30 p.m. Monday.



Investigators said the robber came in and handed a note to a teller. After getting money, he fled on foot and was last seen heading south towards Calvary Drive.



Police say the suspect is described as being a black male standing 5 feet 4-7 inches tall, and weighing 120-130 pounds. He was said to have "very noticeable" acne. He wore blue jeans, a brown t-shirt, blue cap, and sneakers that were bright green and white. He may have fled in a dark colored vehicle.
