More charges filed against Raleigh bank robbery suspect

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police have filed additional charges against a Franklin County man accused of robbing a bank.

Wilbert Davis Jr., 44, has also been charged with attempted common law robbery.

Investigators said Davis intended to rob a SunTrust bank last Friday, but he left and went to a First Citizens Bank in the 4800 block of Capital Boulevard instead.

Davis was caught on camera handing a note to a teller at the First Citizens Bank last Friday. He never pulled a weapon.

Davis remains in the Wake County Jail.
