UNC Rex announces new cancer center in Raleigh

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- A new cancer center is coming to the Triangle.

UNC Rex said it's starting construction on a new cancer center across the street from its main Raleigh campus.

It will be a four-story, 145,000 square foot project at the corner of Blue Ridge Road and Macon Pond Road.

It's expected to break ground in the spring, with a grand opening at the end of 2020.
