Durham carjack suspects crash car, flee police on foot

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are searching for two men who led them on a chase Friday in Durham.

Police said the driver wrecked the Dodge Charger, hitting a wall and another vehicle.

The men got out of the car and ran away at Alston and Dowd streets.

An officer recognized the car because it was carjacked a day earlier on Pilot Street.

The men sped away after officers attempted to stop the vehicle.

The suspects remain at large.
