SeaWorld offers $3.4B to takeover Carowinds, according to reports

One of Charlotte's top tourist attractions may soon be under new management.

Bloomberg reports the parent company of Carowinds is considering a takeover bid from SeaWorld Entertainment. The deal is estimated to be worth around $3.4 billion.

In 2019, Six Flags Entertainment made a bid to buy Carowinds but that deal ultimately failed.
