Man accused of raping 5-year-old child in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, NC (WTVD) -- A Goldsboro man is in the Wayne County Jail under a $5 million bond charged with raping a 5-year-old girl.

The Goldsboro Police Department said it began investigating the case last week and 21-year-old Lamar McNeese was arrested Monday.

He's charged with first-degree rape of a child and two counts of first-degree sex offense with a child.

McNeese was due to go before a judge on Tuesday.
