Clinton man facing sex charges

CLINTON, NC (WTVD) -- A Clinton man faces charges that he sexually assaulted a juvenile.

Carmine Colantuono, 58, turned himself in November 10 and is in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond.

The Sampson County Sheriff's Office said Colantuono is charged with six counts of statutory sex offense, second-degree forcible rape, statutory rape, second-degree sexual offense, crimes against nature, and six counts of indecent liberties with a child.
