More diapers arrive after theft
Diaper bank getting lots of help

DURHAM (WTVD) -- On Friday, the Diaper Bank of North Carolina received a donation of 40,000 diapers.

It's the latest donation following an ABC11 I-Team Troubleshooter story earlier this week after someone broke into the Durham diaper bank and stole its supply.

The bandits took off with about 13,000 diapers from the Diaper Bank of North Carolina that were intended for families in need.

While about 28,000 diapers have been donated since Monday, that's how many the charity gives out each month. So, donations are still needed.

The community can help in several ways. Diaper donations - sizes 4 and 5 are particularly needed - can be made at one of the Diaper Bank Hot Spot Drop-off locations:

Donations can also be made on the Diaper Bank's website at http://ncdiaperbank.org/get-involved/donate-it/.
