Disney World fire: Fireworks show ignites blaze near ride

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (WTVD) -- Embers from a fireworks show ignited a small fire near the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida Saturday night.

Fire crews extinguished the flames within minutes and passengers were able to get off the ride safely.

A Disney spokesperson said embers from the nightly fireworks show landed on the building near the ride.

No injuries were reported and the ride reopened a short time later.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC11.
