Lee County man faces multiple drug charges after raid

SANFORD (WTVD) -- A Sanford man is in custody after Lee County Sheriff's Office narcotics agents executed a search warrant Thursday at his home in the 1110 block of Ray Avenue.

Once inside, the residence agents seized 80 dosage units of Percocet, 10 milligram prescription pills, three dosage units of Percocet, 5 milligram prescription pills, one dosage unit of Xanax prescription medication, three dosage units of Nuvigil, and 4.5 grams of marijuana.

Clarence Richardson, 31, was arrested and charged with one count of trafficking opium (Percocet), two counts of possession with the intent to manufacture sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling place for the storage and selling of illegal controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Richardson was jailed under a $135,000 secured bond.
