DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- One person died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle Wednesday morning, Durham police said.
The wreck happened before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Lawson Street and South Alston Avenue.
Police said 39-year-old Saul Aguilar Lopez was heading southbound in a 2015 Toyota Tundra pickup truck. He made a left turn onto Lawson Street and collided with 51-year-old Tyrone Royster, who was driving a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle.
The right side of Lopez's pickup truck hit the front of Royster's motorcycle.
Authorities said Royster was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash, according to investigators.
No charges have been filed and the crash remains under investigation.
