Durham Police: Man shot during attempted robbery

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating after a shooting sent a man to the hospital.

It happened around 9 p.m. in the 2900 block of Chapel Hill Road, south of 15-501.

According to police, a man in his 40s was shot two times during an attempted robbery.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.

No suspects are in custody.
