Man shot in Durham parking lot dies

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Durham Police Department is investigating after a man was found shot early Friday morning in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of Savannah Place.

Police said the man was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later. Detectives have not identified the man.
