Kristen Bell leaves voicemail as 'Frozen' character for girl with brain tumor
A 6-year-old girl with an inoperable brain tumor was made an honorary Frozen princess, thanks to Kristen Bell.
Avery Huffman was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brain tumor on June 30. Since then, the girl has been courageously fighting for her life as her friends and family cheer her on.
Word of Avery's battle apparently made its way over to Arendelle, as the 6-year-old girl received a voicemail from Kristen Bell, who channeled her character Princess Anna from Disney's Frozen in a touching message for the girl.
"Hi Avery, this is Princess Anna from Arendelle. I just wanted to call and say hello, so, hello! I hope you're having a great day."
But Anna wasn't the only member of Arendelle royalty sending their well wishes to Avery.
"My sister Elsa says she's heard you've been such a good girl and that you've been so brave she has decided to crown you an honorary princess of Arendelle. Wow, that's so exciting! I think you'll make a great princess. Well, I got to go build a snowman with my friend Olaf now," Bell said, before saying goodbye.
No information has been released as to what Princess Avery's first royal proclamation will be. ABC has reached out to representatives at the kingdom of Arendelle for comment and will update when they respond.
