FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- More than nine months after he ran partially naked from the Cumberland County Courthouse and jumped into Cross Creek during a pre-trial hearing, 20-year-old Jacquail Clemmons has been recaptured.
Clemmons was arrested Tuesday by the Fayetteville Police Department.
On June 3, 2015, Clemmons was in a hearing on the second floor of the courthouse when his bail was revoked.
Clemmons, facing a number of breaking and entering charges, began to strip his clothing and jumped over a staircase railing. He landed safely on the first floor and continued running and stripping out a side door of the courthouse.
Deputies chased Clemmons about half-of-a-mile away, where they said he jumped into Cross Creek.
They weren't sure where he went after that.
Clemmons was in the Cumberland County jail Thursday with a $100,000 bond set.
