Cause of Wilson tire plant fire sought

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Bridgestone-Firestone officials say they're investigating what sparked a large fire at a Wilson tire plant over the weekend.

The flames broke out Saturday afternoon, and burned for several hours.

Company officials told ABC11 that the damage was kept to a small part of the mixing area. They hope to start making repairs soon.
