In honor of World Chocolate Day, we present four chocolate recipes that claim to be healthy. We've all seen promises of healthy chocolate recipes which just don't work for those of us who are truly addicted to the delicious taste of chocolatey goodness. Such recipes include "helpful" tidbits like 'just have a small piece' and 'everything in moderation'.

No.

We don't want moderation. We want to eat a big slice, a big bowl, an entire serving of dessert because otherwise, what's the point? Portion control is really the opposite of joy. Luckily, we've found a kindred spirit in Chocolate-Covered Katie, whose blog is both inspiring and drool-inducing. Check out some of her healthy chocolate recipes below.

1. Chocolate Lava Cake

This is the holy grail of chocolate desserts: a moist cake covers a gooey, warm chocolate and raspberry filling (drool. Already drool). Check out the full recipe here.

2. Chocolate Zucchini Brownies

Bear with me here - these really are good. Zucchini doesn't have much of a taste on its own, so mixing it up into a chocolatey brownie recipe is the new best way to get your vegetables.

3. Chocolate Nutella Milk

If you don't yet believe in a good and kind Creator, now is the time: chocolate Nutella milk exists. Imagine drinking a tall, frosty glass of Nutella ice cream - that's what this tastes like. Whip up a pitcherful for your next girls' night and watch the crowd go wild. Skim the full recipe here.

4. Cookie Dough Dip

The rest of your friends crave chips and salsa, but your sweet tooth is relentless. What do you do if there are no cookies on hand? Leave the oven to the amateurs and make a batch of this healthy cookie dough dip. The secret ingredient? CHICKPEAS. Yes, the stuff you make hummus with. But trust that it's going to be the best thing you've ever eaten. Check out the full recipe and serve with fruit or graham crackers.
