Families welcome home Fort Bragg soldiers from Afghanistan

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (WTVD) -- Paratroopers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division returned from Afghanistan Friday night.

About 150 paratroopers from 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment arrived at Pope Army Airfield around 11 p.m.

The paratroopers conducted security operations and convoy security for U.S. and NATO forces supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
