Local stores celebrate Free Comic Book Day

Local comic book shops are giving away free comic books to celebrate the 16th anniversary of Free Comic Book Day on Saturday.

In addition to free comics, participating stores will also host community events such as costume contests, drawings by guest artists, creator signings, raffles, door prizes, photos with costumed characters, and other community building activities throughout the day.
