The South Carolina mother-daughter duo of Rozalynn and Gabrielle Goodwin has turned a problem into a trendy business.
Gabrielle is the namesake and inspiration behind "Gabby Bows."
The eight-year-old designed them with her mother after losing one too many store-bough barrettes.
"Gabby Bows" has sold more than 3,000 packs in 32 states across the United States.
Gabrielle and her mom are taking their pitch to Washington, D.C. on May 8 for the Innovateher Women's Business Challenge.
"Gabby Bows" is one of 15 national finalists. The top prize nets $15,000 for their business.
