Vehicle rolls over 3-year-old in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A 3-year-old girl was injured in a vehicle incident in a Raleigh neighborhood.

The Raleigh Police Department said a Lexus Sport Utility Vehicle rolled over the toddler on Friday night. It happened in the 3600 block of Top of the Pines Court in a townhome community parking lot..

The little girl was conscious and alert, police said.

She was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Despite the experience, police said they expect that she will be fine.
