An Egyptian man hijacked an EgyptAir plane and forced it to land in Cyprus, where passengers were eventually allowed to get off and the man was arrested, ABC News reports.

The Foreign Ministry of Cyprus identified the hijacking suspect as Seif Eldin Mustafa. The Egyptian Interior Ministry published a video of the suspect going through security.

Officials say this is not terror-related. They believe it may be motivated by a personal issue.

The plane took off in Alexandria and was headed to Cairo, but was diverted to Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus during the hijacking. It was carrying 55 passengers in addition to the crew members. Officials initially said all but seven passengers and crew members had been released and negotiations were ongoing. They later said that the suspect had been arrested and that the seven remaining people had been released.
