Historic house on the move in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Crews worked Sunday morning to move a historic home on Yancey Street to Vickers Avenue. The home is going back to the Morehead Hill neighborhood where it originally stood before the construction of the Durham Freeway.

The process was painstakingly slow as low-hanging power lines and traffic lights had to be moved to make room.

When the home is finally in place, it will be renovated and sold.
