Crash on I-40 closes multiple lanes near Wade Ave

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A crash on Intersate 40 near Exit 289 closed two eastbound lanes and three left westbound lanes.

According to NCDOT, the accident started just before 10 p.m. and was not cleared until around midnight.

It's unclear at this time if anyone will face charges in the crash.
