DURHAM (WTVD) -- A pair of shootings that happened Saturday are under investigation in Durham.
The first happened on Juniper Street near North Hyde Park Avenue.
Police said a 23-year-old man was standing outside when a bullet hit him in the side.
The victim's identity was not released.
A few hours later, police said several people were standing outside on Wedgedale Avenue when one person was shot in the back.
More than half a dozen bullet casings were scattered across the street.
Officials said the victims of both shootings have non-life threatening injuries.
Police don't believe the shootings are related.
