Here's how the news is developing.
Bussi stops penalty shot by hat-trick hero Marner
The nightmarish evening continues for the Carolina Hurricanes in the third period.
With the Canes on a power play, and hoping to cut into the lead, a turnover left Mitch Marner, who already has a hat trick, one-one-one with Brandon Bussi, who has replaced Freddie Andersen. Sebastian Aho fouled Marner from behind in desparation, giving Marner a penalty shot.
Fortunately for the Canes, Bussi managed to stifle Marner's penalty effort.
Still, the Canes continue to trail 4-0 with 14 minutes left in the game.

Nightmare 2nd period for Canes as Vegas opens 4-0 lead
It's been a nightmare second period for the Hurricanes, as Vegas has suddenly opened a 4-0 lead in Game 3.
Tomas Hertl and Mitch Marner scored 16 seconds apart, and Marner scored again less than 4 minutes later to give the Golden Knights a 3-0 lead and break open what was a tight, tense contest.
Marner then completed a hat trick, blasting one to the far post past Andersen with 3:08 left in the second period.

Vegas goal waived off after review, Game 3 still 0-0 in 2nd
Vegas appeared to have scored the first goal of the game, but an official review found goalie interference against the Golden Knights.
One of the Vegas players clipped Freddie Andersen, preventing him from moving into position for a potential save.
To the groans of the Vegas crowd, the game remains scoreless with nearly seven minutes gone in the second period after not one but two apparent goals by the home team are disallowed.
Mark Stone's goal from the slot 36 seconds into the period was overturned when Brett Howden was determined to be offside after a video review. Another review wiped off Jack Eichel's rebound goal four minutes in when Rasmus Andersson was called for goalie interference.
And both times the Hurricanes successfully challenged the goals to keep the game scoreless.
